●作家　artist　: 黒木ゆり　 Kuroki Yuri ●タイトル Title : 「ホワイトスター」　「White Star」 ●作品サイズ Artwork Size :　25.7×18.2cm ●支持体・材料 Supports/Materials : パネルに油彩 (Oil on panel) 額縁が付きます(A frame is included.) ※クリックすると全体画像をご覧いただけます。*Click to see the entire image. ●作家コメント 夜の暗闇に少しずつ光が射し込んできて、明るさが微妙に変化していく。 その中で世界が透き通って見える一瞬がある。この一瞬の澄み渡った時間をサンスクリット語でブラフマムフルタ(Brahmamuhurta) と言うそうです。 この言葉の意味は「全体が息づいている時間」　 この何か始まりそうなすべての可能性を孕んだ時間。それでいて静寂な時間。瞑想で得られる無の境地に通じる気がします。 私はこの透き通った時間に魅力を感じ、この空気感を表現したいと思い描いてきました。 ●Comment from the artist Light gradually filters into the darkness of the night, and the brightness changes subtly. There is a moment when the world seems to become transparent. This moment of clarity is called Brahmamuhurta in Sanskrit. The meaning of this word is “a time when the whole is alive”　 a time that is pregnant with all the possibilities of something about to begin. And yet it is a quiet time. I feel that it is connected to the state of nothingness that can be attained through meditation.
