I use allegory as a technique to create works based on the theme of “touching the depths.”
In today's world, online communication via social media has become commonplace, making it possible to interact with others beyond physical distance. On the other hand, I feel that communication in such spaces tends to ignore the personal context and emotions of the other person. This is because the lack of imagination in these areas often leads to misunderstandings, which are commonly seen online.
Taking this situation into account, I aim to draw people's attention to the background and emotions of others that are not immediately visible—the “depths”—through my work. This is the meaning behind my theme of “touching the depths.”
To achieve this, I employ allegory as a technique. Allegory is a method of expressing abstract concepts—such as meaning, ideas, or the “depth” of a given context—through concrete elements. I use this technique to depict abstract motifs like imaginary flowers, plants, angels, or animals, thereby revealing the “depth” that is not immediately apparent, and encouraging viewers to engage their imagination.
This allegorical technique has been traditionally used in the history of Western painting. For example, Caravaggio's “Still Life with Fruit,” which I encountered and was deeply moved by when I was in high school, is one of the representative works that employs this technique. At first glance, this work appears to be a simple still life painting of meticulously depicted fruits, but it contains allegorical meanings such as “the fragility of life” and “death.”When I learned this, I was deeply impressed by the “deeper meaning” hidden behind what is visible to the eye. Based on this experience, I have adopted the technique of using allegory to reveal the “deeper meaning” in my own expression.
I hope to use this traditional technique of allegory to reveal the unique aspects of modern society and allow people to “touch the deeper meaning” through their imagination.

Since her school days, she has studied figurative painting by exhibiting her works in the Hakuhikai exhibition, which has many realistic artists. She has been studying figurative painting since she was a student at the Hakujitsu-kai, a group of realistic painters. She has used her technique and sense of style to create unique works rich in color and narrative.
Her paintings of young girls, both beautiful and fragile, clad in flowers, women with sharp eyes and bold poses, and fertility goddess-like figures bathed in beautiful light, all come to life when she breathes life into the canvas, illuminating the hearts of viewers as well.
