He is very thorough in his coverage of moving objects, which can be difficult, and sometimes he considers as many as 50 sketches, images, and other materials to paint a single train car. His works, which are based on a deep understanding of the local atmosphere and people's lives as well as the subject matter, leave the viewer with a sense of nostalgia and awe.
