●作家　artist　: 苛原 治　Irahara Osamu ●タイトル Title : 「影」　 ●作品サイズ Artwork Size : F3号 27.3×22.0cm ●支持体・材料 Supports/Materials : パネルに白亜地、テンペラ絵具、油絵具 white clay soil, tempera paint, oil paint on panel ●額縁が付きます。(A frame is included.) ※クリックすると全体画像をご覧いただけます。*Click to the full image. ●作品コメント 光を柔らかく感じられる女性を描きました。 最近は特に女性を描く事にこだわっています。 女性特有の美しさを表すためにあえて控えめな光を追い求めながら描いてます。 ●ステートメント 私の作品は自分の見た風景やもの、出会った人々を自分が見たい空間に置きかえて画面に表しています。これはなにか写実的でも幻想的でもない自分なりに求めている空間なのかもしれません。これは自分でも考えれば考えるほど悩ましい事柄です。ですが１つだけ言えることはこの自分が求めている空間づくりに適しているのが油絵具とテンペラ絵具の混合技法だということです。まるで自分の思考を重ね合わせるようにして重層された油絵具の色の深みは自分でも美しいと感じてしまいます。 そんな私の思考が重なった作品達を見て頂けたら幸いです。 ●Artist's Statement In my works, I represent the landscapes and things I have seen and people I have met by replacing them with the space I would like to see. This may be the space that I am seeking in my own way, which is neither realistic nor illusory. The more I think about this, the more I am troubled by it. However, one thing I can say is that the technique of mixing oil and tempera paints is suitable for creating the space I am looking for. The depth of the colors of the oil paints, layered as if my thoughts were superimposed on them, is beautiful even to me.
